Legal Secretary

Located in Oklahoma City

Multi-practice Oklahoma City firm seeking experienced legal secretary. Candidate will be performing various legal secretary duties to include support to designated attorneys. Must be able to work independently, be highly organized and detail oriented. 2-3 years’ previous legal secretary experience. Must have excellent computer knowledge in MS Office, Word, Outlook

Job Duties:

  • Preparation, review, editing and proofreading a variety of documents, including pleadings, correspondence, discovery, databases and other materials
  • Transcription of digital media (i.e. memos, correspondence, deposition, summaries, recordings, etc.) using transcription software/equipment
  • Organizing and maintaining databases, templates and forms
  • Working knowledge of State and Federal court civil procedure guidelines and new cases, and docketing of deadlines and due dates
  • Coordinating and tracking project activities
  • Entering billable time into task-based software program
  • Handling of incoming and outgoing mail for several paralegals
